February
2016 was a VERY busy month in our library!
We started off the month with the PBSC Nursing Student Association’s reach out! On the 2nd floor of the library and other stations around campus they provided blood pressure readings. Did you know heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year? The library also put on a display of books about 'Women's Heart Disease' for students, faculty and staff to check out.

The next day...
PTLC hosted The
Lake Worth Civility Committee’s "Civility is Sweet" event in the
Gallery-LLRC. The Civility is Sweet Contest was announced and forms were available
on the 2nd floor of the library and the Student Activities Center. Contest forms were given to someone who did
something nice. A drop box was available at our Reference Desk. The drawing was
Friday, February 19th.
