Business Speakers Series-Joe Tedesco-Guest Speaker

Joe Tedesco, Mindset Manager Consultant, was our 1st guest speaker in the Business Speakers Series for the BAS program, on Tuesday Oct. 19th. 

Joe's talk was on "A Mindset of Successful Business, How to Mind Your Business." He covered the top 5 foundational thoughts of successful people, and the top 5 behaviors of successful people. He recommended reading James Allen's 1903, "As a Man Thinketh".

He is a self-guided individual and began working for himself as a teen. At age 35 he sold everything and didn't need to work anymore. He wondered why everyone else was not as successful at this stage in their life. He has a passion for helping others to achieve their goals.

Joe was very interactive with students during his presentation and challenged students to think for themselves.  I liked his #1 Law of Responsiblity; "Our thoughts and how we think are our own, and no one elses."   Joe gave many 'real life' examples in his presentation for students to relate to.

Joe's quote of the day?  "Get passionate about your business; your business wants you as much as you want it."  This one-hour presentation was a condensed version he usually uses in private sessions with business owners, top salesmen, and business executives, all the way to top performing athletes in golf, softball, and tennis.

Robert Moore will be our next guest speaker on Nov. 19th, 2pm in the Gallery at Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth campus library, 2nd floor. He will be speaking on comparing and contrasting European management styles with U.S. management styles.
